One new species from Iran belonging to this group is here described, i.e., S. sardashtensis Ranjbar & Rahch. Scrophularia kollakii and S. sulaimanica are also recorded in Iran for the first time. Macro and micro-morphological characters of this species are examined and compared with the related taxa. Detailed descriptions and distribution maps are provided for the nine species treated.
