Under these conditions, the water-holding capacity, oil-holding capacity, and swelling capacity of steam-exploded pine chips were 8.3 g/g, 6.5 g/g, and 5.0 mL/g, respectively. Abstract

Dietary fiber is considered a feed ingredient with high nutritional value in the broiler feed industry.
