Abstract

In this paper, a single-layer wideband dual-linearly polarized reflective element is developed operating from 13GHz to 15.5GHz. The developed reflective metasurface can produce orbital angular momentum (OAM) vortex waves with required modes, beam numbers, direction, x-, y- or both x- and -y polarizations. To demonstrate this versatility, three reflectarrays with multiple modes, multiple beams, and both x- and -y polarizations are designed, and one is fabricated and measured to validate the design.
