Abstract

: The fungal strain Aspergillus fumigatus CBC18132, isolated from deep-sea sediment, was investigated for secondary metabolites. Fermentation on rice medium followed by chromatographic separation led to the isolation of three polyketides ( 1 − 3 ) and ten alkaloids ( 4 − 13 ). The structures were determined by analyses of spectroscopic data ( 1 H and 13 C NMR, and MS data).
