Abstract

A yellow, volatile liquid nitrosamine that emits toxic fumes of nitrogen oxides when heated to decomposition. N-Nitrosomethylvinylamine has been found in several vegetables, cheeses, meats, alcoholic beverages and fruits. It is only used as a research chemical to induce tumor formation.
