Portugueses en el Río de la Plata en las Órdenes Terceras religiosas

Abstract

Contributions are presented on the Portuguese in the ird Orders in the River Plate. Especial reference is made to the ird Order of San Francisco and the listings of its prime ministers. Religious works are described, in addition to pointing out that the descendants of the Portuguese families participated actively in the first and second Franciscan and Dominican orders. An outstanding contemporary bibliography and original sources were rescued mainly from the books of the tertiary brothers and their incorporations, which are representative of their inclusion, with the declaration of their blood cleanings. Commercial movements are essential between the tertiary brothers ́ activities and the mercantile and financial roles in which they were involved.
