It aims to understand: 1) the transformative changes in the procurement department of Syekh Yusuf Library; 2) the transformative changes in the cataloguing department of Syekh Yusuf Library; 3) the transformative changes in the service department of Syekh Yusuf Library in embracing the industrial revolution 4.0. In investigating the issue, this research uses a descriptive qualitative method. It acquires the research data from the library director as well as the librarians through interviews, observation and documentation techniques. The research findings suggest that the procurement department of Syekh Yusuf Library is gradually implementing 4.0 based library system. The library has replaced the EliMSs software with teh SLIMS software. The cataloguing department is catching ap with the industrial revolution 4.0 by utilising manual and electronic DDC system on computers which have been installed with SLIMS software to make inventory, classifying, cataloguing, labelling, and stamping collections. In the service department, the industrial revolution 4.0 can be seen from some library services such as e-books, repository, professor’s golib, and Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). This research hopes that the management of Alauddin State University of Makassar provide more funding for Syekh Yusuf Library to achieve the 4.d basis library goals through their programs.
