Abstract
The annotation guidelines for narrative levels and narrative acts have been developed
in conjunction with my master thesis, the goal of which is to distinguish
plot relevant settings from rather mentioned spaces in literary texts. For this, the
determination of narrative levels is a requirement to precisely classify settings.
Nevertheless, the guidelines itself were developed independently from the spatial
classification task.
