To provide insights, a baseline non-cooperative caching strategy is first introduced between the CBS and TBSs. Then, an efficient cooperative edge caching strategy is proposed by leveraging the vertical cooperation between the CBS and TBSs, and horizontal cooperation between the TBSs. Analytical results demonstrate that the content provisioning cost of SD-HCN is significantly reduced by using the analytically obtained optimal storage allocation between the CBS and TBSs, and the proposed cooperative edge caching strategy always outperforms the non-cooperative caching strategy.
