Results: the Confirmatory Factor Analysis with Structural Equation Modeling showed better fit indices and a three-factor structure according to the original scale and obtained optimal internal consistency values for each factor. Conclusion: this study provides an instrument for both researchers and professionals to study the phenomenon of organizational politics in the workplace and organizations and allows them to contribute new studies and literature in Puerto Rico.
