Abstract

Zn-O nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by sol-gel route using ZnSO4.7H2O as precursor in alkaline medium. Structural, morphological and optical property of Zn-O NPs was analyzed. Zn-O NPs were characterized by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectral (FTIR), UV-Visible spectrophotometer, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX).XRD pattern shows the purity of synthesized Zn-O nanoparticles particle size.
