SUMMARY The historiography of architecture has run parallel with that of film, but historical figures from each of these spheres have moved between the two without being restricted by the linearity and straitjacketing of each professional circle. Abstract

RESUMEN La historiografia de la arquitectura ha discurrido en paralelo a la del cine, pero personajes de uno y otro mundo se movieron sin la linealidad y encorsetamiento de cada circulo profesional. Estos apuntes sobre los dos primeros congresos cinematograficos espanoles celebrados en Madrid, Primer Congreso Espanol de Cinematografia (1928) y Congreso Hispanoamericano de Cinematografia (1931), sirven de muestra acerca de la permeabilidad entre estos circulos y de contribucion a la apertura de los compartimentos estancos con que la historia muestra hoy en dia algunos itinerarios vitales y profesionales.
