Abstract

Despite advances in scientific research, Staphylococccus aureus remains a pyogenic and toxigenic bacterium involved in different infections, it endowed with the capacity to infect several biotopes and cause a wide range of infections ranging from skin diseases to other serious pathologies such as pneumonia, meningitis, sepsis, osteomyelitis and infectious endocarditis. Moreover, the emergence of resistant strains constitutes a serious public health problem.
