Making diabolic gifts present and then denying them is a crusade daily reaffirmed in the Christian metal. The text has as theoretical contribution the studies on production of presence of Hans Gumbrecht (2010–2015) and field research content on Christian heavy metal, and aims at contributing to delineate one of contemporary neopentecostal practices and to discuss the articulations between ministries created to combat the devil and the heavy metal music linked to the biblical discourse. Abstract

In this text, we argue that there is a double production of presence in Christian heavy metal shows.
