Identificação de vestígios de intolerância religiosa a partir da categoria de Rosto, de Emmanuel Levinas: estudo de caso em uma escola pública

Abstract

This work sought to identify traces of religious intolerance in the public school space, based on the category of Rosto, extracted from the thought of Emmanuel Levinas. We chose a field research, using the qualitative research methodology of case study and as a research tool the critical analysis of the discourse, in the French current, in the view of Dominique Maingueneau. The chosen field of research was a public school, which offers exclusively Secondary Education, located in the peripheral region of the municipality of Belo Horizonte. The school is located in a region with a high index of social vulnerability, according to a survey conducted by Belo Horizonte City Hall in partnership with CRISP - UFMG that consolidated the indice de vulnerabilidade juvenil de Belo Horizonte (IVJ-BH/2015). The work was developed between March 2017 and February 2019. The research work involved a bibliographical review sought to understand the thinking of Emmanuel Levinas, the issue of religious intolerance and the Critical Analysis of the French Current Discourse. Concomitant to the bibliographic review, we carried out observation and data collection in the field delimited previously, through informal and semi-structured interviews and questionnaire application. The research was authorized by the Comite de Etica em Pesquisa (CEP), according to registration CEP/CAAE: 91198918.6.0000.5137.
