Abstract

Stephanidae (Hymenoptera, Stephanoidea) are solitary idiobiont ectoparasitoids of wood boring insect larvae. Here we present two genera, i.e., Afromegischus van Achterberg, 2002 and Foenatopus Smith, 1861, and five species, i.e., A. gigas (Schletterer, 1889), F. bisignatus Aguiar & Jennings, 2010, F. crispus Aguiar, 2010, F. nimaarkanii Ghafouri Moghaddam & Rakhshani sp. n. and F. prousti Aguiar & Turrisi, 2010 from Iran. Specimens were collected in southeastern Iran (Kerman and Sistan-o Baluchestan) from unknown hosts. Their morphological features and distribution are discussed in relation to the overall knowledge in the target and adjacent regions. Foenatopus nimaarkanii sp. n. is incorporated to the key for the identification of Foenatopus species with double spots on metasomal tergites.
伊朗楼梯总科(膜翅目,楼梯总科)及一新种记述
Stephanidae(膜翅目,Stephanoidea)是一种由木材钻孔昆虫幼虫组成的单生外寄生蜂。在这里,我们介绍了两个属,即Afromegischusvan Achterberg,2002和Foenatopus Smith,1861,以及来自伊朗的五个物种,即A.gigas(Schletterer,1889)、F.bisignatus Aguiar和Jennings,2010、F.crispus Aguiar,2010、F.nimaarkanii Ghafori Moghaddam和Rakhshani sp.n和F.prousti Aguiar&Turrisi,2010。标本采集于伊朗东南部(克尔曼和锡斯坦-俾路支斯坦),来自未知宿主。它们的形态特征和分布与目标和相邻区域的整体知识有关。Foenatopus nimaarkanisp。n.被纳入了鉴定交代交代交代岩上具有双斑点的Foenatopus物种的钥匙中。

期刊介绍: Insect Systematics & Evolution (ISE) publishes original papers on all aspects of systematic entomology and the evolutionary history of both extant and extinct insects and related groups. Priority is given to taxonomic revisions and phylogenetic studies employing morphological and molecular data. ISE also welcomes reviews and syntheses that can appeal to a wide community of systematic entomologists. Single species descriptions, regional checklists, and phylogenetic studies based on few taxa or single molecular markers will generally not be accepted.
