As a result of our study of Aspicilia from China, three new lichen species—A. lixianensis, A. nivalis, and A. pycnocarpa—are proposed and typified. Detailed descriptions, comparisons with related species, morphological photographs, and phylogenetic
analysis of these taxa are provided.
