Many potential mechanisms have been reported on CV impact by the SARS-COV-2 virus; medications used in the treatment of COVID-19 disease have various effects on the CV system; long-COVID associated morbidity is a growing topic to explore. Abstract

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CoronaVirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) has been declared a global pandemic.
