Abstract

Abstract: The main aspect of winter maintenance is removing winter slipperiness. The article presents an overview of pavement heating methods that are an alternative to standard methods of dealing with snow and ice. Hydraulic, electric, microwave and induction heating was analyzed. The research and implementation of individual methods were presented. Keywords: Heated pavements; Winter maintenance
