We divided our cohort into two groups: group I with SVI<!--> <!-->≤<!--> <!-->35<!--> <!-->mL/m<sup>2</sup> and group II with SVI<!--> <!-->><!--> <!-->35<!--> <!-->mL/m<sup>2</sup>. There was not a significant difference in terms of age (49.8<!--> <!-->±<!--> <!-->12 vs. 51.6<!--> <!-->±<!--> <!-->10<!--> <!-->yrs, <em>P</em> <!-->=<!--> <!-->0.3), sex (70.7 vs. 72.2% were female, <em>P</em> <!-->=<!--> <!-->0.8) and history of atrial fibrillation (67.4 vs. 55.7%, <em>P</em> <!-->=<!--> <!-->0.09). 2D MVA was significantly lower in group I (1.22<!--> <!-->±<!--> <!-->0.4 vs. 1.43<!--> <!-->±<!--> <!-->0.5<!--> <!-->cm<sup>2</sup>, <em>P</em> <!-->=<!--> <!-->0.003).
