Propuesta para un recorrido por el universo de producciones académicas en torno al análisis del discurso presidencial kirchnerista (2003-2015)

Abstract

In this bibliographic overview, we aim to compile and review the academic literature on the presidential discourse of three successive administrations under Néstor Kirchner and Cristina Fernández, spanning the years between 2003 and 2015. In doing this, we attempt to systematize and group this academic production under four thematic headings or categories with varying objects of study. The first category is made up of speech or enunciative studies, which analyze the enunciative strategies of Kirchnerite presidential discourse, focusing especially on the subjects of the enunciations (the three audiences of political discourse) and their political imaginaries. The second category involves the study of ethos — and includes work that focuses specifically on the subjects of the enunciations by both ex-presidents. As for the third category, this includes studies of Kirchnerite identity, covering the emergence of a unique political subject and its relationship to Peronist ideas. Finally, the fourth category encompasses discursive or narrative studies, which look at the Kirchnerite narrative and, particularly, at its epic-religious dimensions. Our review hopes to offer a better understanding of the existing literature on the Kirchnerite presidential discourse, while also looking at the methodological development of Discourse Analysis and the contemporary trends around it.
