Simplified methods for calculating the dynamics and strength of plates during their deformation in the elastic region are applied. Main results. Developed method for calculation of dynamic strength of RVA. Relations are obtained that make it possible to choose the geometric dimensions of the RVA that ensure its dynamic strength and vibration damping efficiency. Conclusion. Abstract

Object and purpose of research. The object of the study is compact lamellar resonating vibration absorbers (RVA). The purpose of the study is to develop a method for calculation of the dynamic strength of RVA, designed to assess the possibility of their use in ship shafting systems. Materials and methods.
