This articulation indicates what the historians do when they researching History teaching. Results, although partial, indicate several issues to be taken into account with regard to research on learning History of children and young people, whether in a school environment or other learning environments. Abstract

: One of the main contributions of the German historian Jörn Rüsen to innovations in the field of research on teaching of History is his references of research in philosophy and the theory of History. His reflections on Didactics of History announced a new paradigm for the research nature of learning and teaching History which is characterized the field of History Education.
