Abstract

Abstract This article intends to examine the level of awareness and use of mobile phone applications by medical librarians in university libraries and health centers in Iran. A sample of 35 librarians working in the libraries and hospitals of the University of Medical Sciences was selected by census method. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data, and its validity and reliability were measured. The results showed that the level of knowledge and understanding of medical librarians is increasing based on their information or experiences from mobile applications. Therefore, necessary measures should be taken to facilitate access to these applications in medical libraries.

摘要本文旨在调查伊朗大学图书馆和卫生中心的医学图书馆员对手机应用程序的认识和使用水平。采用普查的方法，选取了在医科大学图书馆和医院工作的35名图书馆员为样本。采用研究者编制的问卷进行数据收集，并对其有效性和可靠性进行了测量。结果表明，基于移动应用程序中的信息或经验，医学图书馆员的知识和理解水平正在提高。因此，应采取必要措施，为在医学图书馆使用这些应用程序提供便利。
