Psychology and the pandemic: Introduction to the special issue.

Abstract

This special issue of Translational Issues in Psychological Science presents a series of articles highlighting the many roles played by psychological factors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Several themes are explored in this special issue, including discrimination, risk perception, cognitive biases, stress and coping mechanisms, pandemic-related mental health problems, and treatment issues for underserved and other special populations.
