ICOLD 2023, Gothenburg Sweden – Regulation and Management

Abstract

At the ICOLD 2023 symposium one session (S3-A) under the theme of Dam Safety Management covered Regulation and Management. Papers highlighted lessons learned from evaluating different legislative frameworks, some of which were particularly pertinent to the UK dam industry. The underlying context for all papers presented was new or changing legislative environments. The key themes of the session have been grouped in this briefing note, selecting interesting contributions accordingly.
