Abstract
A new species, Paranthrenopsis sichuanensis sp. nov. from the province of Sichuan, China, is described and figured. A preliminary catalogue of species of the genus Paranthrenopsis Le Cerf, 1911 is provided. The catalogue contains updated taxonomic information including the references to the original descriptions, information on name-bearing types, nearly complete bibliography, and the data on the known distribution of species.
