abstract:Polyamory is a constantly expanding and intersecting subject that is flooding media and academia. Though growing in popularity, within the higher education institutions there is a research void. The lives and experiences of college students that identify as polyamorous are relatively unknown. "Alternative Lifestyles and the Black American HBCU Student: Future Research Considerations for a Growing Community" is a composition focused on presenting and exploring research methods to approach the void.
