Traditions and modernity in easel graphics of Azerbaijan

Abstract

The article talks about the influence of miniature, folklore and ancient traditions on the work of graphic artists of Azerbaijan. The role in the formation of the national graphics of artists distinguished by their connection with ancient traditions such as Azim Azimzade, Alekper Rzaguliev, Maral Rahmanzade, Elmira Shakhtakhtinskaya, Jamil Mufidzadeh, Arif Huseynov, Arif Aleskerov, Adil Rustamov, Rasim Babayev, Togrul Narimanbekov, Jabbar Gasimov, Altai Gadzhiev, Baim Hajiyeva, Mirteimur Mammadov, Ismail Mamedov, Ashraf Geybatov, Ramiza Talibova and others.
