Abstract

This research analyses the relationship between Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) and E-commerce with innovation and impact on performance in a sample of Spanish firms. Two models of analysis have been built. One focuses on the influence of technology usage on innovation and the other focuses on the effect of innovation on firm performance. Results outlined that AMT and e-commerce influence significantly the different innovation dimensions, such as the number and intensity of product and process innovations as well as organisational methods.
