The greatest number of species were recorded from the subfamilies Polycestinae (31 species) and Buprestinae (25 species). Acmaeodera yuccavora Knull (Polycestinae) and Agrilus fisherellus Obenberger (Agrilinae) represent two new state records in New Mexico.
