Abstract

Basal callus formation and leaf abscission is a problem in clonal micropropagation. We have described an in vitro clonal propagation protocol of Dalbergia sissoo Roxb (shisham) ‘FRI-14’ in which AgNO 3 played important role not only in mitigating problem of leaf abscission and basal callus, but also improved shoot induction and multiplication.
