Abstract

Haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (haplo-HSCT) is a reliable, effective and emerging treatment for hematological malignancies.Due to the difficulty of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) matching between donors and recipients, the One-child policy, and the decrease of HLA-matched sibling donor (MSD) and so on, the donors selection is greatly limited in hematopoietic stem cell transplant(HSCT). This article reviews the new researches on clinical outcomes for different hematological diseases, conditioning regimen and the prophylaxis of graft versus host disease (GVHD) in the context of haplo-HSCT. Key words: Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; Leukemia; Transplantation conditioning; Graft vs host disease; Haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
