Abstract

Les carcinomes épidermoïdes (CE) sont de localisation rare au niveau du pied. Dans la littérature, ils sont souvent décrits comme étant des lésions faisant suite à une plaie ou une ostéite chronique. Néanmoins, quelques cas ont été décrits chez les sujets diabétiques. Nous rapportons ici le cas d’une patiente de 53 ans, diabétique, qui consulte devant l’apparition d’une lésion évolutive, depuis huit mois, présente sur le bord antérolatéral du pied droit, étant devenue invalidante dans les activités quotidiennes. La biopsie a mis en évidence un CE. La patiente a bénéficié d’un traitement chirurgical radical par amputation transtibiale.
