Abstract

This article illustrates through documentary research the evolution of environmental management in the business field. Some theoretical approaches to dynamic capacities are also used to serve as a conceptual platform to understand how the development of a dynamic capacity for proactive environmental management based on internal capabilities can contribute in a more integral way to obtaining a competitive advantage and to potentialize.
