Most of the recent works were related to the development of radiation shielding materials. In this study, the neutron and gamma ray shielding properties of iron-boron-phosphate-based Nd<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-added composites have been obtained, and the effect of Nd<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> rate on these properties has been investigated. The composite formulated was 10MoO<sub>3</sub> − (9 − <i>x</i>)(3.6Fe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> − B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> − 5.4P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>) − <i>x</i>Nd<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> where <i>x</i> = 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 (mol%).
