Among NTM, <i>Mycobacterium abscessus</i> is reported in these sites. Abstract
Objective: Surgical site infections (SSIs) owing to nontuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) have emerged as an important cause of hospital-acquired SSI leading to great morbidity and mortality.
