Recent Advances in Therapeutic (Induced) Malaria.

Abstract

As experience has accumulated with the extended use of malaria for theraIeutic purposes new and interesting observations have been made. Some of these are of value to the malariologist, some to the neurologist, some to the psychiatrist. This article is an attempt at a summary of the more important observations that have been made within recent years. Up to the year 1926, the position of therapeutic malaria was summarized in an earlier work, so that only new facts that have been brought to light since that date will be recorded. Confirmatory evidence will not be described.
