Abstract

In this article we erroneously referred to ‘two cases of confirmed hepatitis E transmission with Mirasol-treated platelets’. Two cases of hepatitis E were reported with Intercept blood system-treated plasma (Hauser et al., 2014). We have provided this reference and corrected the text to read ‘two cases of confirmed hepatitis E transmission with Intercept-treated plasma (Hauser et al., 2014)’ on line. We apologise for the error.
