Abstract

To discover new bioactive lead compounds for medicinal purposes, herein, sulfone biscompounds bearing dihydrothiazoles (3-9, 14, 15), acrylamide (11), thiazolidinones (12, 13, 20), thiophenes (16, 17) and benzothiophene (19) were prepared and tested for their anticancer activity. The structures of the products were confirmed from elemental analysis as well as spectral data.
