The Morphological Variations of Culex pipiens Larvae (Diptera: Culicidae) in Yazd Province, Central Iran.

The data were analyzed using SPSS software version 16.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Average of siphon index in fourth-instrar larvae was 3.86±0.03, the minimum and maximum were calculated 2.43 and 5.14, respectively. Siphon/Saddle index was measured as average, minimum and maximum 3.2±0.2, 2.78, and 4.42 respectively. In our study, only 4 specimens had single seta 1 on segments III and VI (2.5%) and the remaining beard double seta (97.5%). Abstract

伊朗中部亚兹德省淡色库蚊幼虫形态变异(双翅目:库蚊科)。
背景:库蚊复合体具有多种形态和生物学特征,包括不同的生物形态,具有重要的医学和兽医意义。由于形态上的差异,有时不容易将其与Cx区分开来。致倦库蚊和Cx。torrentium。本研究的目的是鉴定库蚊的复杂种类,为今后的防治规划提供依据。方法:2009年4 - 10月在伊朗东部亚兹德县随机选取2个村庄采用浸采法进行研究。采用SPSS软件16版对数据进行分析。结果:四龄幼虫虹吸指数平均值为3.86±0.03,最小值为2.43,最大值为5.14。虹吸/鞍指数平均值为3.2±0.2,最小值为2.78,最大值为4.42。在我们的研究中,只有4个标本在III和VI节上有单1集(2.5%),其余的标本有双集(97.5%)。虹吸法在1a-S和1b-S区观察到最多3-6支(95%)。结论:伊朗不同地区的库蚊种群数量有待进一步研究,以获得完整的分类和生态学信息。
