Abstract
The first International Symposium on Animal Genomics for Animal Health (AGAH) provided an excellent venue for scientists working in the field of genomics to interact with animal health experts. This paper provides an introduction to genome-enabled tools and highlights some of the research projects in the AGAH proceedings.
