Abstract

This study determined a genetic basis for the phenomenon of significant asymmetric ratio of the two component nuclear types from dikaryons of Lentinula edodes via protoplast formation and regeneration by clarifying the influence of A or B mating-type factor on recovery of nuclear types from dikuaryons.
