A few years ago, only 40% of the patients at St. Luke's Hospital and Health Network in Bethlehem, PA, who were having an ST-elevation myocardial infarction received angioplasty within 120 minutes. Today, 100% of the patients are getting to the cath lab within the two-hour timeframe.
