One patient developed recurrent laryngeal nerve damage. One patient developed discitis, and two patients complained of a \"clicking\" sensation postoperatively.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>Although CED has a relatively high success rate, there is a 15% rate of complications associated with the procedure.
