Early diagnosis, aggressive antibiotic therapy, and management involving a multidisciplinary team approach are imperative for the patient to progress without complications.</p><p><strong>Implications for practice: </strong>Education and awareness are crucial for successful diagnosis of and management of treatment for Ludwig's angina. Abstract
