On May 10, 1999, GIH convened a small group of grantmakers along with experts in community health, research, and government for an Issue Dialogue on prevention and women's health. Intended to both share lessons learned and stimulate new ideas, the Issue Dialogue proved to be a lively and insightful forum on the challenges and opportunities in funding projects in this area.
