Population migration and growth in agricultural production.

Abstract

The relationship between rural-urban migration and agricultural labor resources in the USSR is analyzed. Regional differences in migration patterns and in the size of the working-age population are described. The effectiveness of various methods of recruiting manpower to areas experiencing labor shortages is considered.
