Abstract

This is the second part of a two-part paper concerning longevity in Romania. In this part the authors examine "the extent to which levels of longevity reached in the Romanian counties over the period 1966 and 1968 were the result of...demographic aging; to this aim the nature and intensity of the relationship between the dynamics of longevity and demographic aging indices by county, sex and social background [were] correlatively analysed."
