Abstract

"The purpose of this paper is to give a description of the use of central registers and administrative data in the [Norwegian] Population Census 1980, and describe a supplementary survey to the 1980 census which is based on administrative data only. The paper will deal with some methodological problems concerning statistical use of administrative data. An annex to the paper gives a further description of the Population census." (summary in FRE)
